I totally left you hanging over the summer and I have zero regrets about it. OOPS!
I don’t totally remember July :P
Once August came I started my online MBA program at FIU :0 which I decided to pursue because it just seemed like the right thing to do right now even with a full time job, freelance projects, my ceramic studio, focusing on my health, cooking dinner, and watching tv with Ray , Dumpling, and Bella :P
In September I fell in love with LA and won an Oscar - no big deal!
You can see my trip highlighted on my personal Instagram. I also took a break from my ceramics to be able to plan on new pieces and be able to come back to the studio at the start of 2025 with clear direction and a game plan for new work.
In October I finished my first course for my MBA which focused on organizational behavior. Did three workshops on presentation skills, virtual collaboration, and personal branding + goals. And closed the month by starting my second course on competitive strategy.
Its been a busy time!!
I wanted to hop back on here on the start of the month and lay out new goals for this newsletter as well as to say I’m just thankful that you are here on the journey of sleuth by design :)
October marked the two year anniversary of sleuth by design and I totally missed posting about it due to creative spiraling lol </3
Previously I went really into detail into what stood out to me that month but with my schedule and priorities at the moment I can’t really take 10-20 hours of the last week of the month to pour into this medium like I used to.
I hope that moving forward sharing with you will be more on the fly and spontaneous than before.
a playlist to start the month off right B)

I’ve spent a lot of the past few months taking a break from social media and have come back to it recently with the perspective of it being a creative tool instead of a social one? After 94 billion edits I’m finally happy with every social account I have as well as the sleuth website, be sure to check them out!
I’ve also spent a lot of time saying this outlet is this or that or not that but at the end of the day it is a design studio focusing on multiple mediums with a lifestyle approach. Its taken me so long to understand that it is in fact a design studio, and its kind of been a wandering path to get here, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
Over the past two years I’ve asked a lot of people for collaboration, feedback on the overall concept, advise on what to do - lost some money in the process to affirm IYKYK, but never stopped wanting to make sleuth happen. To date its been graphics, ceramics, and interiors - and I’m excited to see where it goes after I’ve finally accepted it can be all things at once.
My New Year’s resolution for 2024 was to be spend as much time away from my computer as I am on it. A dream of mine has always been to work with ceramics and now, in my spare time and weekends, that dream is a reality. I owe several of you pieces I’ve promised and trusttttt they are coming!
Sleuth was founded in October of 2022, out of a hunger to share my own unique perspective of what design is outside of a traditional design firm model.
What started out as a mood board and personal catalogue of architectural inspiration and resources has evolved to an exploration of physical and digital design through ceramics, graphics, and interiors.
Through my distinct design perspective I marry the digital aspects of graphic design, architectural drawings, and 3D modeling to the physical of clay, architecture, and materiality.
With each form I tell a piece of my story ♡
Beshitossss, signing off with thee government name so you know I’m for real.

See you again on December 1st!
